Who Should Attend?
Our Breaking Barriers, Creating Inclusion action learning programmes are designed to offer strategic support to leaders and managers at all levels in the development of their leadership reach and capability.
Learning Style
BME leaders often talk about the sense of being alone and isolated especially the higher up the hierarchy they climb. Constructive support and challenge as provided in the safe environment of an action learning set is one of the most useful responses to enhancing the probability of success of these leaders.
Action Learning Sets also serve as a useful vehicle for building cross cultural relationship and understanding between professionals from diverse backgrounds. Used in this way they are sometimes called Diversity Circles. DWDP research indicated that outcomes from Action Learning Sets include development of a shared vision, increased mutual respect and trust , collaborative partnership skills, practical action and results, all of which are important enablers of organisational success.
