Different Women Different Places
A study of the lives and experiences of black and minority ethnic women leaders… Same gender, different race.
Women’s Minister Harriet Harman MP said she hopes the "report will inspire many more Black and Asian women to pursue senior leadership roles within the workplace, and that they will be supported and encouraged by their employers."
Baroness Valerie Amos, former Leader of the House of Lords, calls the report “important and timely”, and says: “Many organisations have already recognised the experience, skill, talent and ability BME women contribute to their success. For those employers who remain to be persuaded, I hope this report will help them to think again”.
Research conducted in 2006 / 2007 by The Diversity Practice in partnership with Katalytik and sponsored by Booz Allen Hamilton, the Learning and Skills Council, Credit Suisse and the UK Resource Centre for Women in SET.
